I currently offer two options for my newborn clients: mini or full sessions. You can read all about mini sessions here but I wanted to take a moment to talk more about full photo sessions for those brand new babies!

I always like to say that I’ve got everything in studio that we’d need for the photo sessions except baby and milk and that is still true for a full. Of course, you are welcome to bring any special items and I will incorporate them, no problem, but it’s not required! There’s no need to choose your set ups since I do a little bit of everything here. Though, I do look to you in the planning questionnaire to specify if there is anything you particularly want to avoid or make a priority!

I always shoot for grabbing family/sibling (when requested), 2 props, a handful of different poses on blanket backdrops (where I work hard to create even more variety and using each pose to its fullest extent with different headbands/hats/layer pieces/angles), and detail shots (lashes/lips/toes/etc). It creates the opportunity to capture your baby in multiple set ups and colors/textures as well as wrapped/nakey and everything in between.

Presently, my newborn clients who choose a full session have 30 images included in the pricing (with the option to add on if desired), so I load the full gallery for them to go through and choose which images they want edited and made available for download. Its a super simple process, and I try to make the entire thing painless from start to finish.

I was so happy to meet baby Caroline since I got to photograph her big sis just two years ago as a newborn. They are going to be little twins when they get bigger, I bet! I just love this family <3
