When I was first contacted about Kimora’s newborn baby photos, I was a little nervous because she was already a month old. I have had great success with older newborns in the past, but it is just always a bit of a gamble on how the baby will sleep and pose since they do have those extra couple of weeks on them. If all 4 week old babies were like this one, newborn photographers would totally change the game, though, because she was perfection. Her 9 lbs were pure chunk and she still curled up into those sweet little poses just like a 6 day old would.
We did a mini session and I always tell parents that a blanket backdrop should be one of their choices since I can do a couple different poses if the baby is asleep which will offer a greater variety for their gallery. Lucky for us, I was able to get quite a few poses out of her and was really happy with the options I was able to share with her family.
