You guys…Lucas was the sleepiest baby boy ever!! I am going to be honest…a lot of expectant parents see sweet posed images of newborns and disregard all the behind the scenes effort it takes to get there, because it’s not always so easy.
With Lucas…it was!
A few factors that really helped this little guy relax during his session:
1. I send EVERY parent a prep guide. It is so important to read it and follow my suggestions. I know sometimes parents want the open eyed shots and might fudge on the advice a bit, but I promise we can get those, too!
2. Lucas’ parents were so relaxed and laid back. Being a first time parent is a stressful time…heck, being a second, third, fourth timer will run you right through it, but our energy effects the baby and frazzled nerves won’t help with calming.
3. Communicating with me before the session date to make sure we are on the same page with colors and set ups so the day of has the easiest flow possible for everyone.
