It was such a a privilege to do the Wilson fall family photos this year! I usually specialize in family’s with small children, but I must say it was a great time photographing adults and teenagers! I was way less tired after this session than usual! (; I had a wonderful evening spending time with this sweet family of four!
We decided to do the Wilson fall family photos at one of my very favorite locations, Marvin Efird Park in Waxhaw, NC! The scenery this time of year is lovely. The colorful leaves plus the golden evening sunlight is a recipe for fall time magic. This location also has a lot of different scenery options. There’s the Barn, gardens and lots of open pathways and fields. This is a great spot to choose if you are interested in having a lot of variety in your gallery.
I have a very strong work flow during a family session. I like to visit each location and grab a few shots in this order: Entire family, sibling photos, parent photos and individual sibling shots. I try to shoot different poses in each location to help give your gallery variation. It was really fun to pose this family because they completely trusted me and just went with the flow.
