Somebody grab the cake and party hats because Arianna turns one in a few short days! Her mom connected with me a few weeks ago to schedule a cake smash and family session with baby Arianna. I love the combo of having an in studio cake smash and an outdoor family session. it adds so much variety to my clients gallery and provides a lot of options for them to choose from!

Family Session

We started with the family session, which was outdoor at a nearby park! I love the look they went for as a family. The parents wore blues and navy’s and they chose a bright coral for Miss Arianna! They looked amazing! I get a lot of questions about outfit choices for the dads. My advice to you, is let them wear what they are most comfortable in. If he is a blue jeans type of man, let him wear the jeans. If he prefers khakis, choose the khakis! My photography style is very focused on capturing who you and your family are as everyday humans. I thought this family did an awesome job of expressing their personalities through their clothing choices and I love that!

Cake Smash

For Arianna’s studio cake smash portion, her parents and I collaborated on a “Wild ONE” theme! I am in love with the solid gray back drop with gold glitter. It reminds me of my annual glitter mini sessions with an adorable twist! Arianna had the CUTEST hair. I am obsessed with her fountain pony! She was so fun in her session, but very gentle with her cake. However, she sure did love the sugary taste!
