Ashers 1st birthday session was cute as can BEE! (; Hehe get it? We went with an adorable first BEE day cake smash theme for his photo session. We also incorporated a few patriotic shots in his gallery because there’s never not a good time to celebrate America, right!? Asher was such a stud during his session. He loved being in front of the camera and he even ate some of his cake with a spoon!

When Asher’s family arrived at my studio we started with the patriotic photos. He was wearing the cutest blue and white striped jumper! Once we finished up with those we moved on to the cake smash portion. We always save this for last because most one year olds have a short attention span and don’t want to spend a lot of time with their cake. This allows built in time for me to clean up my studio and for you to clean up your baby! Every toddler is different, so I assure you that I will adjust the session according to your child’s needs and personality!

Asher really enjoyed eating his cake versus playing in it which I thought was hilarious! He wore the cutest shirt that said “It’s my BEE day!” and had a beautiful bumble bee cake. I thought the bright yellow background looked gorgeous against his skin tone and he had the best smile! Asher also really loved to play with the balloons which allowed for some extra fun photos.

This theme was one of my all time favorites for a cake smash session! I hope Ashers 1st birthday is one he always remembers!
