I was so excited when the Martin family emailed me to schedule their newborn baby session for their little boy! I just got to see them at the end of summer for their maternity session. It’s hard to believe baby Martin is already here!

This little guy was sound asleep for his entire session. We had a blast posing him and watching him snuggle up to anything soft! He loved being cuddled by his big brother and wonderful parents. I started the session off with sibling photos. I tend to do these photos first so we can avoid the older sibling getting restless! From there, I will keep the same backdrop and have the parents join so we can grab family pictures. This also helps me keep a steady flow.

Once I was satisfied with sibling and family photos, we transitioned to individual portraits of baby boy. These turned out to be stunning! His parents and I decided on a dark teal blue and gray color scheme. We also wanted to do a few Christmas themed pictures to showcase his birth month! The gray and blue backdrops looked AMAZING against his skin. I think these are two unique and perfect colors for any newborn baby session.
