Welcome to world newborn baby boy Cruz! It was such a pleasure to shoot his lifestyle photo session in my favorite city, Charlotte, NC! I had the best time meeting this precious family of three in their beautiful home! Out of all of the lifestyle photo sessions I have done, I must say Cruz’s nursery is one of the cutest I’ve seen! Keep reading to hear more about it and to see all the cute photos!

One reason I love in-home newborn sessions is that everything feels more relaxed and comfortable. Plus, I get a chance to see the beautiful nurseries! I love the custom and personal touches the parents put into each baby’s room. I especially loved the large, black, block letters that spelled Cruz above his crib. It looked stunning against the white, shiplap wall. Mom also added a plant in the corner which gave the nursery a nice comforting and earthy vibe against the simple neutral color scheme.

Newborn baby boy Cruz was awake for most of his session, but very calm and alert. He loved looking around at his surroundings and playing peek-a-boo with his mom and dad! When he was sleeping he snuggled up so sweetly and made my job posing him super easy! He is a true mix of each of his parents and is such a handsome little guy.
