I am still dreaming of this winter ONE-derland cake smash for this precious baby boy! We pulled out all of the winter magic for these first birthday photos at MJP! I love the Scandone family. They have been clients at my studio for years now. I’ve had the privilege of shooting their family photos, maternity photos and both of their baby boys newborn and birthday sessions. Family’s like this truly mean the world to me and my business. They start as clients and always leave as friends!

I’ve done a few winter ONE-derland cake smash session, but this is hand down my favorite set up! The Christmas lights make the session feel magical. I also love the added touch of pine cones and the Christmas tree. It give a rustic and boy-ish feeling while still keeping that bright and airy style of photography. I also really enjoy how we did a studio set up as well as outdoor photos. This gives the Scandone’s a beautiful variety of photos to choose from for their little one.

Sometimes cake smash photo set ups can feel trendy, but this one is timeless and will be such a perfect keepsake forever and always.
