We had the cutest sunflower cake smash session for baby girl Charlotte’s first birthday! She was the sweetest little baby and I enjoyed chatting with her mom in between set up changes. This cake smash session has been on my calendar for quite sometime and I have been looking forward to making this session come to life!

Baby Charlotte was a little ray of sunshine. Between her and the sunflowers, I couldn’t stop smiling during this session! For the first portion we used my white space. I am in love with these precious photos. They are so bright and airy and baby Charlotte was beautiful in her little, white sundress! Once I got the photos I needed, we moved into the sunflower set up. This was so much fun to put together! I used my wooden door back drop to give a rustic feel. Then I threw in touches of greenery against few of my favorite white accent pieces (lantern, boxes, and stools). Once that was ready I filled in the rest of the space with big, perfect sunflowers! I was so pleased with the photos and the set up!

I love when parents come up with unique first birthday session ideas. This sunflower cake smash session is one of the best yet and I am so excited to share it with you!
