It’s time to celebrate because Blake turns one in a few short days! I feel so honored to shoot this cuties first cake smash session. He was so much fun and such a happy little guy. He was a trooper and made it through a few outdoor shots and in-studio photos!

We decided on a blue and white theme for his one year photos, which I think is a perfect option for little boys. We used a blue and white polka dotted back drop for his posed photos and then my white space for his cake smash session. I especially love the simplicity of both of these set ups!

Once we wrapped up the studio pictures, we headed to our second location which was a park close by to my studio. We grabbed a few family photos and then some shots with just Blake and each of his parents. These were so much fun and I think they will add a nice variety to their gallery.

I can’t believe Blake turns one so soon. He already seems so big! I hope you enjoyed a little glimpse into his first birthday celebration!
