My 2021 fall family minis will forever hold a special place in my heart! I had a very specific vision of what I wanted for a set up this year, but had no idea how I could make it happen. I knew I wanted an old school truck with pumpkins and mums set up in the bed and preferably on a small piece of open land. A true southern, fall set up if you know what I mean!? Unfortunately, I knew zero friends with an old school truck, so I decided to start searching for new locations. As I was scrolling through the depths of Instagram, I happened to run across a page called The Magnolia Farm. On their page they feature an old school, white, truck on a beautiful piece of land. I immediately knew this is what I had been searching for!

I quickly messaged their account and the owner was more than accommodating! She let me rent her truck and a small piece of her land for an afternoon so I could make my fall family mini dreams come true. I adore every single one of these family galleries! Fall minis are such a fun day for me. It’s an afternoon with back to back sessions with old and new clients. Each family gets a 30 minute time slot and it’s super important that the family comes on time. I schedule the times according to prime, photo sunlight hours, which is a surprisingly small portion of the day. It is necessary that I stay on schedule, so I can give each client the optimal photo opportunities.

My mini sessions move quickly, but I always make sure to get all of your favorite and requested shots. I always grab family, sibling, individual, and couple shots (if requested). But don’t worry, if we finish early, I will keep clicking my lens until your session time is over. You will never be without a full gallery!
